Du 19 au 21mars 2013 à Lyon
The European Robotics Forum will take place from 19 – 21 March at Lyon, France. The event is a meeting point for industry and research: at least 350 scientists, companies and officials from the European Commission will attend. The forum is designed to provide an opportunity for the companies and researchers to meet and interact in workshops and seminars; this way they can expand their networks, gather the latest relevant information, and build new business and partnerships, thereby strengthening the potential of European robotics.
The event consists of, among others:
- community-driven workshops and seminars with many interesting speakers. Among them, Zoran Stančič, Deputy Director General of DG Connect and Khalil Rouhana, Director of Component & Systems in DG Connect. These are organized by the EU-funded project euRobotics, which was just completed after bringing together different stakeholders in the robotics community over two very successful years.
- an Investment Forum, where start-ups and SMEs pitch their ideas to investors, and the best business plan wins the Entrepreneurship Award. Renowned investors will take part, and coaches will provide useful hints to the participants. This is where the technology transfers links are forged for a more competitive Europe.
- the INNOROBO exhibition, an event open to all for free: here you will be able to experience and see for yourself what the 21st century holds for us. Robot companies will exhibit their products and innovation; EU-funded projects present the newest in robotics research.
